EPPD Records

The EPPD Records Division provides access to official reports, including accident, incident, and offense records, as well as background checks and clearance letters. Our team ensures all documents are accurately reviewed and securely managed, so you can confidently access the information you need. Request specific reports below and review any associated fees.

Include your postal mailing (return) address. Allow 10 business days for a response. The fee for reports requested by mail is $1.50.

You can pay by cash, money order, or check and send or deliver to the same address as above. Do not mail cash.

Offense or Incident Reports 10 cents per page for the first 50 pages; Additional charges for overhead, materials, and labor if more than 50 pages.*
Accident Reports $6.00 plus $2.00 extra for a certified copy
Background Checks or Clearance Letters $6.00
Open Records Procedure Requests 10 cents per page for the first 50 pages; There may be additional charges for overhead (including computer research time) materials, and labor if more than 50 pages.*

* For these requests we'll issue an itemized invoice. For online requests, we send the invoice electronically or by phone for in-person pickups. For larger fees, we offer an estimate upon request, allowing the option to adjust or cancel before proceeding.
